No Duh.

Did you ever put together an ensemble from pieces you have had forever and been like, what da HAIL?

Why haven't I ever worn THIS before?

That was this outfit, my Favorite Outfit Of The Week.

I've had the dress since my grandma fell off her dinosaur, from TJ Maxx, and never wear it. It has kind of split sleeves that are somewhat dated, and I never considered wearing a jacket over it until this day. NO DUH. Doy, even.

Plus, it may be like, the most comfie dress ever. And the jacket? A score from the thrift store a coupla years back. It has a big old hole in the elbow, but does this guy care? NEGATIVE.

And the boots. Lord have mercy, the boots. They're Lauren Conrad for Kohl's, also from a few years back, and are like wearing slippers to work. Plus, you can do the fringe dance in them, so there's that.

Threw on some jurreys and I'm good to go. I will be packing this outfit when the family heads to the east coast in the family truckster in a few weeks. Yep. We're ROAD-TRIPPING. I haven't done that since college, when 5 of my friends and I piled into someone's Oldsmobile and drove to Padre Island for spring break.

I'm guessing this trip will have fewer stops to squat on the side of the road, and possibly less Boone's Farm Strawberry Wine. I can't be sure about either of those things, though, until it actually happens.

In fact, now that I think about it, maybe both those components are what is going to get me through a 16 hour road trip with three 5-year olds.

Don't forget to vote here if you haven't already done so. Please? Thank you!!

Let's see how long it takes for one of the kiddos to say, " I have to go!" LOL
