Tardy to the Party

First things first: If you have not yet voted for MerciBlahBlah in the VoiceBox Top Moms Who Blog Fashion & Beauty, it would be PHANTASMAGORIC if you did. And contrary to what I said initially, you can only vote once per IP address for the next 32 days. So. Click here, go there, and voila! Pretty please? Thank you!

Well, since Sunday night was the series finale of Breaking Bad, Tom and I figured we would start watching it. Way to be ahead of the curve, Shan. We finished the first season (well, Tom finished it - I watched some and fell asleep during some, but only because WE CAN NEVER START WATCHING TV UNTIL 9 P.M., AND I AM NOT A 20-YEAR-OLD OUT FOR A RAVE ANYMORE).

And also? I FINALLY put together an ensemble to wear with my sneaks. I love it. It was MUY comfortable, and if people thought I was channeling Working Girl a la 1988, so be it.

Frankly, I don't know why it took me THIS long to do it.

I'm going to have to come up with some other Lady Working In New York Walking In Her Tennis Shoes and Business Suit ensembles.

Maybe my track jacket, graphic tee, leather pencil skirt and kicks?

Hmmmm...methinks I like that idea.

Stay tuned...

And if you're a Breaking Bad watcher, are you new to the party? Devastated? Ready to move on to a different show?

Jacket: Wallis, c/o
Dress: Kensie
Shoes: Nike
Necklace: Jennifer Zeuner

I haven't watched the finale yet! Don't say anymore! LOL That and Mad Men are my two favourites. I am going to be super sad not to see Jesse anymore.

That jacket does have a 1980's vibe to it ; P

Oh, I won't say a thing, cuz we're just on season 2. I'm going to have to avoid EVERYTHING that mentions Breaking Bad for the next 6 months apparently.

Did you watch the season premier of SNL last weekend? Jesse was on it in several sketches.

Ok so I have been a die hard breaking bad fan since day 1 and I was thrilled with the finale, then saddened that it was over, then happy again that it didnt keep going until it was no longer awesome.

Love the jacket - you look fab! Hope you are having a great week! Voted for you!

Supremely fabulous getup you've got going on...and I think the leather pencil skirt idea would be perfect!
