You Better Run

Every time I see the striped shirt in my drawer, it gives me an 80s Pat Benatar vibe, so that's how I wore it this time.

I mean, minus the pseudo Dorothy Hamill/Pat Benatar hybrid haircut.

Sometimes this shirt actually drives me nuts, because if left to its own devices, it can look kind of boxy and frumpy dumpy. Then I realized if I did a half tuck over some skinnies, it was way cooler.

Do you ever do that with your clothes? Have something that in theory you like, but in execution is not so great?

How do you deal with it?

And do you feel somewhat guilty if you have an article of clothing that hasn't been worn, like it has feelings and might be hurt that you haven't worn it lately?

No? Me neither....

Shirt: I do believe it's an old H&M
Jeans: JC Penney, on clearance for $6 last year
Shoes: Target
Necklace: Gift
Bracelet: TJ Maxx

Merci,
Shan

Ugh unfortunately I do it all the time! I always have to try things on and play around with them because the idea in my mind isnt always how it works out. Btw, Love the half tuck with the boxy shirt - perfectly balancing the skinnies. I've been doing that a lot lately too! Twinsies!

Amy - thanks, lady! Have a good one!

Zahra - Thanks. I know some people hate the half tuck, but I happen to love it poysonally. And yes, we are practically the SAME PERSON. I'm pretty sure if we were walking down the street together, people would completely confuse us. :)
