Might As Well Jump

Now that summer is drawing to a close, I thought I'd share witcha what ended up being one of my favorite summer ensembles for cool nights.

And, and, annnnd the shoes that are apparently not leaving my feets lo these past weeks.

Got this shirt from Old Navy when I was looking for a swimsuit cover up about a monf ago, and decided I liked it better with these shorts, which I wear oh, about 75 times a week. From Target, and ohhhh so soft and comfy.

Got the mocs from Target as well, last year, and never wore them that much. I have no idea why, cuz they are like house-slippers. In fact, people may think I am wearing slippers. No matter. I still wuv them.

Made it through the first day of kindergarten last week unscathed, and amazingly, sans tears (theirs OR mine). The only time I choked up was when Scarlett's teacher texted me a photo of Scarlett drawing a picture with a HUGE smile on her face. I was so glad she looked like she was having a great time.

Then I had to listen to her complain that she couldn't go to school on Saturday or Sunday. Soon enough she'll be complaining that she has to go FIVE DAYS A WEEK. I can only hope that my kids have someone like Van Halen to get them through their school days when it gets to that point.

That's it for now, kids. Here's your nostalgia for the day. A little Diamond Dave never hurt anyone on a Monday morning.

Linked here and here.

If you're so inclined, hop over here and vote for moi in the Wallis Summer Stylist contest. Thank you!!
