Favey Crocketts New and Old

I haven't done a Favey Crocketts post in many a moon, so I thought I'd share some new faves and old stand-bys witcha. My latest fave?

Josie Maran Argan Matchmaker Serum Foundation

I don't know how they do it, but it comes out of the bottle white, like moisturizer, and when you apply it, it covers the red blotchy stuff and evens out your skin. Josie Maran is clearly performing some kind of voodoo ritual to create this magical elixir.

Living Proof Amp Instant Texture Volumizer

Imma say right off the bat that the Living Proof line is spendy. I recently bought the Restore shampoo and conditioner, and I like it, but those bottles are pretty damn small for $26 each. So when Sephora's 500 point gift was a sample pack of Living Proof stuff, I high-tailed it up and got some. And dammit if I didn't love some of the product. My favorite is this Amp Instant Texture Volumizer. I LOVE the texture it gives my hurr, espesh when I'm wearing it wavy/curly, and I can vouch that I got a few extra days in between shampoos - in fact, you may be grossed out by this, but when I finally washed it again last night, I couldn't remember how many days it had been since I washed it last. That stuff is the shit.

I have been using Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion forEVER now, and wouldn't go wivout it. It really does help your eyeshadow stay put. Can't recommend it enough.

Loreal Haute Couture Red Nail Polish

Look, I'm the first to admit I'm a nail polish whoooore. It's a little obsession of mine. This summer I have been wearing everything from mint to turquoise to coral - anything bright I could find. However, at the first sign of cooler temps, I pulled out my vampy black-red. I'm not going to pay for Chanel's Vamp, espesh when there are WAAAY cheaper knock-offs out there that are exactly the same. I just picked up Loreal's Haute Couture Red and realized this color really is my signature nail color. I love it more than allllll the other colors put together.

Kenra Volume Spray 25

Kenra Volume Spray 25 is my favorite hurr-spray ever. It holds but does not make your hurr stiff or sticky. Love love love this stuff.

I have tried more 'spensive mascaras: Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes, Diorshow Blackout, and Fresh Supernova come to mind, but I don't think any of them are any better than good old Loreal Voluminous Mascara. It's the one I ALWAYS come back to (though if forced to pick one of the other above, I'd go with Fresh Supernova). Howevs, unless they discontinue this bad-boy, I won't need to.

Sooooo, I've shown you mine - now you show me YOURS. What are your beauty must-have favey crocketts?

Merci,
Shan
