Crazy Paisley and Crazy Train

I love when I realize I have two items that go together that on first glance I wouldn't have paired. Case in point, this numbers tee and crazy paisley pantalones.

These are some of my favorite pants. Not only do they have aforementioned awesome crazy paisley pattern, but they are supah-dupah soft. And something like $11 on clearance when I got them. Thanks champagne!

So when I pulled them out to wear them, I was all - but I DON'T want to just wear a white tee with them, and spied this numbers tee, which has the same coral color repeated in the crazy paisley, and I was all, UH HELL YES. STOP THE PRESSES. DO NOT PASS GO, DO NO COLLECT $200. And my husband was all, "Ummmm, no you DIN'T," and put his hand in my face and the kids were twerking in the background, and I was all, "YOU DON'T KNOW MY LIFE, BITCH!" and I punched him in the baby-maker.

Okay, in the spirit of full disclosure, none of that happened, but I WAS stoked to put them together and love this ensemble, so HMMMMPFH.

But seriously. Even now, looking at these pics again I realize just how MUCH I love this outfit together, and think I might go put it on again today, and maybe tomorrow, and wear it until my co-workers start complaining that they keep smelling incessant and pervasive body odor.

Or not, cuz that would be gross. Not as gross as the time last week when we looked out our window at work (I work in a building that is an old train depot), and there was a guy waiting on the other side of the tracks, wearing shorts, with his shirt off but tucked into the back of his pants. And he was drinking a 40 oz. wrapped in a brown paper bag (mind you, this was at 8:30 a.m.), and started picking his nose. I mean, like he was digging for GOLD, people. This was the grand champion of picks, I'm telling you. He was going for brain. And he pulled out his finger, turned, and WIPED IT ON THE POST HE WAS STANDING NEXT TO. And that, friends, IS a true story. Please commence gagging now.
