Floral and Stripes and Leatha, OH MY!

I found this skirt last week when I found the pants I have on in the last post - at JC Penney. Both on clearance, Clarence.

I think I ended up spending something like $11 on the skirt and $15 on the pants.

Not toooooo shabby.

I knew immediately I wanted to find a black peplum top to wear wif, and headed to Target, because I thought I had seen one there eons ago and figured it would be on clearance too. Alas, it was not, but they DID have these new faux leatha ones in for fall, so BAM, in my cart it went.

It's pretty much perfection. Can't wait to wear it wif some white skinnies, like my homegirl Zahra, who looks KICKASS here, or later in the fall with jeans, booties, and a camo jacket.

Imma be honest - I was not a fan of peplum tops in the beginning, but much like harem pants and mold and that one weird hair that I have to pluck from my chin every now and then, they grew on me.

Oops - was that too much information?

Linked here, here, here, and here.

Awesome you got that top! I seriously keep finding ways to wear mine and the leather makes it so much cooler/edgier and less girly girl than usual for peplum. Plus, when you want to wear leather in summer, a sleeveless top is probably the best way to do so and keep cool. Love it!!

Zahra - yup - I think I was hesitant on peplums for so long because they were too girly girly or something. The faux leather is more my style.

Debbie - DO IT.

Dela - yay - glad you found MBB!!
