Stuff my kids have said lately...
From Simon: "He is a handsome bootchy pants." Yes, we are still using bootchy pants in our house. It's going to be the next baby fish mouth.
(This is my very poooor imitation of Karen on last week's Californication. Of course, she looked way cooler - and her hurr was a bejillion times better). ah well.
From Gavin (on the left above): "Mommy, do you remember that scurry dream I had a long long long long long long long long time ago?" Me: "No, buddy, what was it?" Gavin: "I had a dream that my hair was made of waffles." Me: "Really? That was scary? I think it sounds awesome. Why was it scary?" Gavin: "Because I was eating it and then I didn't have any hurr."
Really? At 4, and he's already concerned about his hairline?
Last weekend, Scarlett wanted help putting on her jammies, so I offered, to which she replied, AND I QUOTE, "I want Daddy to do it. You're not a proper mommy."
SAY WHAT???!!!
I may not be a proper Mommy, but only ONE of your parents would send you to school sans pants, and it ain't me, sister.

I actually snorted on the last "sans pants" comment. Classy, no? You crack my sh*t up! Adorable kidlets and LOVE that necklace!
Ahhh, thanks, lady. I look forward to your comments every day!!
Can't remember where I found your blog, but I love it! I think you pulled off the Karen look very well! And I had to laugh at your son asking you if you remembered his dream....my son is constantly asking me if I remembered things that are completely irrelevant (to me of course). I wouldn't mind hair made of waffles, but he has a point, once you eat them...your huur is gone!
Limefreckle - you officially have my favorite name. Glad you found ye olde blogge and even MO glad that you enjoy it! I think I would like waffle hair, except for the syrup that was constantly running down your forehead.
way to tie in the "sans pants" story from before, you should be a sitcom writer! You (and your kids) just made my day!
look at those babies!!! :)) Thanks for your more than kind words yesterday dear. xx
