My cousin, a photographer, took some family photos of us this weekend on the grounds of beautiful Unity Village, and I captured these on my phone during the day. It was SO gorgeous on Saturday - in the 70s, and we had our windows open all day. Today, the temps dropped drastically, and the high was about 40 degrees. Brrrrrr.
In other news, it is officially time to get the parental controls set up on the old computer. Yesterday morning, I had turned on a nursery rhyme for the boys, and was in doing laundry, when I could tell it was over and they were clicking onto something else. I walked in, and Simon said, "Mom, it took her YEARS to come out of the closet." Ummmm.... excuse me???? I asked. He helpfully repeated it. I quickly hit stop on the cartoon that was playing, looked at the description, and it was a lesbian comic strip cartoon. Who even knew there was such a thing? Not this guy.
I'm all for freedom of expression, and freedom of choice when it comes to who you love, but I have to draw the line when my kids stumble upon something like that on line. I'd prefer they learn about the birds and the bees from me, and not YouTube. Call me crazy. Anyhoozle - hope you enjoy the snaps.
Happy Monday, yo!
