I think my right brain has its own menstrual cycle. Like clockwork, about once a month or so, it becomes a little bitch and hibernates.

I'm pretty sure right now it's sitting on the couch in dirty sweatpants, eating Trader Joe's chocolate covered potato chips and drinking a glass of red wine with a Midol chaser.

Seriously. My right brain's period leaves me with the inability to creatively combine an ensemble or put together a blog post. I'm pretty sure if you go back and check them, the ones I wrote during Aunt Flo's visit to R.B. are all "here is what I wore today. How do you like these black pants with a white shirt a la Annie's Sante Fe?"

At least during those times I have not yet resorted to the uniform of Blockbuster (khaki's and a chambray shirt) or Bennigan's (khakis and a green polo).

But if R.B.'s lady time doesn't wrap things up soon, before long I'll start recapping Lifetime Television For Women's latest movie of the week.*

Sweater: Old Navy
Pants: Zara
Shoes: Target
Necklaces: Jennifer Zeuner and Design Spark

*I mean BESIDES the revamp of Steel Magnolia's. I cannot BELIEVE they remade that movie. It's like redoing Gone With the Wind. I'm highly offended that it even came to be.

The original movie? STILL makes me cry. Especially the scene with Sally Field at the gravesite talking about how her daughter always said her hair looked like a big brown football helmet. Sheesh. I need to stop talking about it. With the precarious state of R.B. right now, I'll be crying into my keyboard before you know it.
