Took a lil trip to the thrift store on my lunch hour today and dragged my cuz Holly along. I don't know why she dislikes thrifting so much, but I have a strong suspicion it has something to do with the smell.
As soon as we walked in, I heard her let out a disgusted "Uhhhhhh..." under her breath while I made a beeline for the dresses and jackets.
No luck with the dresses, unless you count the GINORMOUS satiny apricot leopard print caftan. NO, I did not get it.
I DID, howevah, score two blazers - one pink, which I have been hunting FOREVAH, and the other a white with blue floral print. Sounds gross, and Holly even made her patented "UHHHHH," noise again when I showed it to her initially, but when I tried it on for her, she came around a bit. Come ON, floral is all the rage these days. I have gone to H&M twice in the past week to pick up their skinny floral capris, but no luck. If anyone else happens upon them at an H&M, I would gladly pay you for them plus shipping - probably a size 6 (or even an 8) at H&M, since their clothes are apparently made for The Borrowers. Or girls who shop routinely at Hollister.
I even thought the floral jacket looked kind of cute with the outfit I have on here, which shirt (a Brooks Brothers) I scored many moons ago at the same thrift shop we were visiting today. Are you a thrifter? What's your best bargain? And if you shop in the KC area - where? I need some new haunts.

must see that pink blazer! Can't find one. And I so know those floral pants u want! Told my sister to get it when she was there, no luck in my size. And what is up with the sizes!? I had to give mini one of the skirts cuz it was so tiny!
