Right Into the Comfort Zone

You don't know what a HEEEYOUGE deal it is that I am wearing my hair in a ponytail. I rarely do it, even at the gym. In fact, people have always asked me why I don't wear it up when I work out. The reason? Sheer laziness. Generally I can go 3 days without washing my hair, but if I wear it up and sweat in it? It gets weird kinks, which means I have to wash it again. Disgusted yet? Ah well, I can live with that.

One of my New Year's  Resolutions was to wear my hair differently than normal. Hence, a ponytail is WAY outta the comfort zone for me. And this is actually not one ponytail, but TWO, one stacked on top of the other to make the total tail look longer.

I can barely handle the craziness.

It's not that I don't want to wear my hair in different styles. I do. I think it every time I see someone wearing a cute bun or updo or what have you, but when I try to do it? Not so cute. I seriously would LOVE to wear a bun, but when I pull all my hair up, it's like a little walnut up there on top. Not cute. How in the hell do people get those big lush buns I see? They can't ALL be wearing extensions, can they?

So to conquer the ponytail is, well, a pretty big deal.

If ya'll have any hurr secrets, do tell. Pun intended. I mean, I'm always searching for tutorials, but could stand a few more tips.

There it is - my dirty little secret - literally. Don't hate me because I'm lazy.

I wish I could get away without washing my hair every day. It looks awful when I wake up. I think your hair looks nice.

As an avid pinterest user, I am shocked that you haven't heard of the sock bun:

Conair got in on that shizz and has also invented this:

But for sure, a sock would work I think.

Love your hair like this! I don't wash my hair everyday either, if I did it would turn to staw. I sadly have no hair tutorial info, I'm a loser with my hair styling. Elle sees blog has great hair tutorials (and she's a sweetheart) check her blog out if you want

omg, I am sooo in love with your shoes!

I've seen the sock bun on blogs and pinterest, too (but never tried it).
