I'm always on the lookout for the perfect band name. You know, for when I become a rock star and need, like, a name? For a band?
Who am I kidding? Though I DID sing in a band at one point in my life, my TRUE band personality is band geek. TRUMPET PLAYA REPRESENT!! I ain't even lying.
Nevertheless, I DO have a small collection of band names JUST IN CASE. Let's see...there are The Pink Trenchcoats - a girl band a la the Go-Go's. DUH. Neon Bikini - possibly a punk ska band, and of course, the original name that started my collection of band names, Pantyhose Jesus.
I think we all know Pantyhose Jesus is indie rock. Is there really a question of anything else it COULD be?
Pantyhose Jesus was inspired by a girl I used to work with whose grandmother used to make, well, little Jesus dolls out of pantyhose. Of course, I smacked it up, flipped it, rubbed it down, and the name has been my number one band name ever since. Puh-LEEEZE tell me I'm not the only one who has such a collection. Come ON. Don't leave me hanging on this one, peeps. Perhaps we can collaborate on our break-out single.

Ha ha pantyhose Jesus just about killed mr, if you ever start a band it'll be a tie between that and neon bikini! Like your shirt paired with the maxi skirt- great laid back boho look :)
