Stuff I Would Kiss On the Mouf: Planet Blue. AGAIN.
with a back as good as the front, I won't forget them now. And speaking of front and back,
this Foley & Corinna looks downright church-like, until you turn around, and then BAM:
Church lady my ass. Foley & Corinna, meet me at camera three: let's talk. G'head and send me this dress, why don't you. It's a win-win. I'll blog it, wear it, give you some free publicity, and I get to, you know, KEEP IT.
PLEEEEEEASE?????

WWD: Somebody's Baby
I'm feeling very Pat Benatar, or better yet, very Fast Times At Ridgemont High, in this ensemble. The oversized grey tee, the red skinnies, black pumps. I know I went to high school in the 80s, but dammit, I still love this silhouette.
Fast Times is DEFINITELY at the top of the list for me. Great music, bitchin fashion, and Sean Penn in a Baja shirt? What could possibly be better? Oh yeah, Phoebe Cates in a bikini.
The Breakfast Club. Duh. Who DIDN'T want to get locked into their school library with the jock and the rebel after The Breakfast Club?
The Outsiders. Taking a trip on the way back machine here. Has there been a movie filled with more eye candy since The Outsiders? Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Tom Cruise and Emilio Estevez (before they both became hot, and WAY before Tom Cruise became a weirdo), Rob Lowe and C. Thomas Howell? Sigh. I came for the Rob Lowe, but stayed for the C. Thomas Howell. Stay gold, Ponyboy.
American Pie. Band geek, party of one here. Of COURSE I loved American Pie, though I must admit that nothing QUITE as untoward happened on any band outings that I took part in. Unfortunately.
So let's hear it. What were YOUR favorite high school movies? And I mean it. I ain't even gonna lie - the lack of comments lately is totally harshing my mellow.

WWD: Lilac Skin
I have been remiss in sending a very belated but nonetheless heartfelt THANK YOU to gorgeous Alicia of Lilac Skin, who was gracious enough to send me the beautiful caftan I'm wearing in today's post.
You may remember her from the interview I did here.
It is the softest silk, and somehwat sheer, but I really wanted to be able to wear it to work, so I belted it and wore a slip underneath, et voila! I felt like the neckline was made to wear with this particular necklace, and love how each compliments the other.
I also knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to pair it with boots, and my new thrifted cowboy boots look perfect with it (in my humble opinion).
The good news for YOU? It just so happens Miz Alicia is giving another caftan away on her blog AS WE SPEAK, so get thee hence here and enter. Once she hits 25 entries, the winner will be chosen randomly.
Thank you AGAIN, Alicia, for the gorgeous caftan. I love love love it!!!

WWD: Boots, Hot Dogs, Bad Weaves, Hotties and a Winner!!!
Ya'll, Imma tell you about my uh-maz-ing find at the thrift store last week, and then we're going to talk about this:
First things first: Boots? Hello, $4.49 leatha cowboy boots. How'd ya like to come home with me?
You would? Great. That makes two of us.
Okay, now that we got THAT outta the way, back to ANTM.
Look, I like a Pink's hotdog as much as the next guy, but they straight up jumped the shark with that photo shoot.
I don't want to see the ANTM all stars fellating a hot dog, for the love of Andre Leon Talley.
Call me qwazy.
Typically I think the ANTM shoots are pretty cool, but this one? Was akin to having the Project Runway designers design an outfit for women walking the runway on stilts. Oh, guess what next week's ANTM challenge is...photo shoot while walking on stilts. SEE??? Jumped. The. Shark.
But not let's talk about Nigel's hair, shall we? This was definitely a case where said hair was best left to the imagination, cuz the reality? Looked like a doofus.
My loins have always burned for Nigel, but seeing him with hair totally put out those fires. Seriously. It was like a bad wig, and I mean BAD.
I have chosen to refocus my loins on this guy:
Dolvett Quince, the new trainer on Biggest Loser. Guh.....Ahhhhh...homina homina...but don't let my eloquent words sway you. Let you peepers do the peeping...
Yup. He looks good in clothes, too. I mean. COME ON.
On that note, I will leave you to your day. I will also leave you with the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner of the 40 Love audiobooks giveaway. I hereby bequeath to you one hee-larious audiobook with minimal bite marks on the cover:
My girl Jen at Peetzi Designs. Hollaaaaa, mama!!! Drop me a line with your address, and I'll get your pressie in the mail.
