WWD: Just. Do. It.

Ugh. I'm sitting here at 10:30 on Tuesday night psyching myself up to go to a 5:30 a.m. boot camp class on Wednesday. I used to work out early all the time - it was great. You have more energy throughout the day, tend to eat better, and best of all - you're FINISHED with it.

Since having The Trips, howevah, when sleep is at a premium, I have not been able to make myself get up that damn early to work out. The earliest I work out now is a 7:30 Cardio Fusion class I take on Saturdays.

(P.S. - on another note - Blair from Atlantic Pacific inspired my outfit du jour. I'm not QUITE as classy looking as she is - more like Klassy with a K.)

Back to the workout - we'll see, and I'll edit this after the fact to let you know if I DID in fact drag my ass out of bed at 5 a.m. to get to the gym, or if I hit snooze 13 times.

Does anyone else work out at such an ungodly hour? How in the hell do you make yourself do it - especially if you're a parent? It's funny - my sister asked me "Why don't you just take the babies to the gym and put them in the daycare?" and I said, "HAIL no!" The gym is my sacred place - all to myself. I know good and well someone would have to come pull me out of class to deal with some drama in daycare. I'd rather just wait until The Hubs is home, or I have a sitter.

Or apparently, haul my ass out of bed at some ungodly hour to go. Ugh.

Natch, I'm rushing through my post so I can get to bed.

I actually used to work out at 5:30 am, last year, until my friends that I walked/ran with flaked on me. I liked it, because I know how hard it is to find time with three kids. So now I take them with me to the gym (they love going to the daycare there) but I don't like it as much as my 5:30 workouts.

The good thing, though, is that if I tell them when they first wake up that we're going to the gym after school, they will NOT let me get out of it. So that's a little incentive there.

I love that last pic. It's epic!! and kudos to you for hauling a** to the gym. I'm on a pilates/squats/lunging/weights routine. 8lbs down and 4 to go. My a** thanks you for noticing. xo
