The Hubs and I went to St. Louis for our sixth anniversary over the weekend, and not only did we spend the night in a fancy hotel (which apparently was hosting a convention of 6-Foot Tall Amazonian women), which ALSO had a theater in it, so we saw the movie 50/50 (EXCELLENT, and I have a total crush on Joseph Gordon-Levitt now), we ALSO spent a night with Amy Bo Bamy, who sadly, is moving to the east coast at the end of this year. BOOOOO, HISSSSSS!!!!

The weather could NOT have been more perfect all weekend, and we sat outside on the patio the morning we checked out of our hotel. Here's me in my FAVORITE new boots from Kohl's (thank you Lauren Conrad). Said boots got a "Those are some BADASS boots, miss" while we walked around downtown St. Louis. Why THANK YOU, tatted up gentleman on the street.
See, I tode you the hotel was purty. By the by, it was the Chase Park Plaza, and I highly recommend it if you're in the neighborhood.
Weird and creepy Medusa statue wall-thingie outside the Orpheum theater.

Amy and me possibly after going out with The Hubs for dinner. I say after, because we forced him to take twelvity five billion photos until he had one we both liked. Can I just say how much I love this girl? Like, A TON. Surrsly - she rocks, and I am so thankful we found each other whilst planning our weddings six years ago. Girls' weekend in the Lou with Natty Lite, here we come!!

And now, let the eating portion of the trip commence...

Like I tode you before Ames, you had me at Fried Green Tomatoes

AND Srimp and Grits. I ain't even lyin. YUM.

Herb roasted chicken? I wanna sop you up like a BISCUIT.

 Me and T. Awwww....

What I REALLY want to show you are these chairs that we are sitting in, and with which I am now obsessed:

Here's the back, it's even better. Are you sitting down?

I TOLD YOU.

The prettiest latte I ever did see, and a goat cheese cookie. Uh huh, I said GOAT CHEESE COOKIE. Build a bridge and get over it.

Eggy spinach wrap with tomatillo salsa. Not my favorite, but I liked this photo, so deal.

Two Pretty Pretty Princesses. And they all lived happily ever after. P.S. Amy - thank you for the veritable BUTTLOAD of clothes you bestowed upon me. I can't wait to blog them all. Love love love you.

Colette - why thank you! I loves me some fringe too.

Linda - the fried green tomatoes and srimp and grits was at Oceano Bistro, and the goat cheese cookie was at Winslow's, both near Clayton. GO NOW.

Jen - thank you! thank you! thank you! thank you! I concur!

Jackie - YESS to The Kohl's score!

NJAM - yep. Actually, Ames and I started this blog together a few years ago, and she kind of phased out of it (phooey). I still lurve her like tuna noodle casserole, nevertheless.
