No, not this one:
(see - MUCH cuter than that bastard on top)
Picked up this book for The Trips last weekend at TEARget, and I swear, I force them to listen to it at least once a day because it cracks me the eff up. I do a specific voice for the shark that is a cross between Dane Cook and Jim Carrey in The Cable Guy. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but TOOT TOOT - I'm pretty frickin good at it.
Could you share with us a few of your favorite lines from the book, Shannan? Why yes, yes I can:
"I'm not afraid of the dark - the dark is afraid of me! Dark heard I was coming and ran!"
and to the question are you afraid of a big, mean bear? the answer:
"Try rows and rows of razor-sharp teeth! How's that grab you, Mr. Bear?""He won't answer - he'll be too busy fainting, hiding, fleeing, or crying."
In summary, if you are in the market for a good book for your kiddos, I highly recommend Mr. Bob Shea's I'm A Shark. And thus concludes my review. Now on to "What I Did For My Summer Vacation."
I melted in the 110 degree frigging heat, that's what. True story.
