I've made no secret my love for the West Coast. I always felt like I was born in the wrong place, and one of my biggest regrets in life is that I never moved to California. I know I still can, but at this point in my life, with the Trips, it's just not feasible. Maybe someday (come ON PowerBall....)
I find myself constantly drawn to blogs written by those lucky souls who DO live out left, and two of my favorites are Adella Avenue and Laguna Dirt. Both make me LONG for Cali. I am not even kidding when I say I get homesick pangs looking through their blogs. Come along and taste the rainbow with me.
The Mid-Century Modern slant to Adella is genius. Not only does she feature breathtaking homes, she also includes artwork and California-girl casual chic clothing.
Courtney Cox's new residence in Malibu. When can I move in?
Stunner on the Eastside of L.A., yo.
Norm's, a landmark in SoCal.

Laguna DirtIf you've ever walked around Laguna Beach and surrounding areas like Corona del Mar, you know that peoples' yards are as amazing as their homes. From crazy lush verdant English gardens that spill over garden gates to immaculate, sparse Zen gardens lined with neatly trimmed bamboo that stands like a sentry, one can see anything in Laguna. I was ecstatic to find Laguna Dirt, which features gardens in the area. I can tell you that I have seriously gotten teary eyed looking through this blog because I SO miss Laguna. Imma nerd like dat. Enjoy.

If this is not boho chic, I don't know WHAT is.
You just don't see gardens like this in my neighborhood. Sigh.

Another dope Laguna garden.
North Laguna - Gawd, look at those hills.
A gardener/green thumb I am NOT, but this crazy English garden in Venice is crazy bananas gorgeous.
