Weekend Photo Recap

Let's get one thing straight: I am pretty disappointed in the pics I got from Halloween. It's nearly impossible to get all three kiddos in one photo, and I just didn't get anything GREAT. My plan is to dress them up again and take them to the area near our home that we hung out in this weekend (with photos below).

Apparently it is impossible to correct for red eye when one is dealing with a Devil Child.

Trick or Treeeeeat!!!

Oy vey - I can't believe I ate the whole thing...

All together now: Awwwwww.....
Now that we have that out of the way, let's move on to some better photos.
Looooove this area that is near a hospital just behind our home. We took The Trips out to play on a walking trail that goes around the hospital, and came upon this field that I maaaay try to take some wardrobe shots in. It was pretty cool.

Scarlett and Simon "hoding hands." They walked for quite a bit like this before deciding to tackle one another to the ground. Sweet.
Simon and Mommy. His face is dirty.
Simon. His face is STILL dirty. WHAT? I took Oreos along for them to eat!!! I swear they're not "the dirty kids."
Gavin. Aaaaahhhh, nature. And the cell phone (SO much like his father). Speaking of The Hubs, three things: a) He gave me a black eye this weekend. On accident. Possibly when we were trying to have the sexy times. True story. 2) He referred to Sponge Bob Square Pants this morning as "Big Square Pants Fat Bob." c) My favorite quote from The Hubs this weekend? When I offered him some of my potato soup, he said, "No way. Potato soup is a disrespect to potatoes." What can I say? He's Irish.
Do you SEE how amazing this field is??? I mean, it helps that I have the frigging CUTEST subject in said field, but still. Pretty awesome. My little Scarley Girl is SUCH a mommy's girl right now that it breaks my heart. As we left each house tonight while trick-or-treating, she would turn to me and say, "Hold hand, mommy?" Guh.
Hope you had more treats than tricks this weekend!

My husband is Irish too. But really I wanted to say that those are the cutest little gnomes ever. That last picture in the field of Scarlett is so pretty..a framer.

I thought you were the thrifting queen. I'm pretty sure we could hang out though and not just for the mere fact that we both have trips. We have the same shopping patterns a dare say....

Christina - I concur, madame! We would tear a thrift store UP.

Thanks everyone - we thought they were pretty darned adorable. What was funny were the people who asked if I made their costumes. Uh, YEAH. in my dreams.

Olivia - you make me laff.
