McLovin: Jolie Juliette Vintage For Petites

I have been on a CONSTANT search for kimonos, kimono jackets, kimono dresses, anything kimono, and do routine searches on etsy and ebay for anything I can find, vintage or newish. One thing I have been DYING for is a dress with the same silhouette as The Glamourai had made specially for her by Josie Natori, seen here:
I mean, what's not to love? The beautifully-belled sleeves, those delicate shoulder cutouts, the v-neck and wrap and obi-liciousness of it ALL? So chic and sexy without being in your face sexy. Soooo, back to my search. Imagine my GLEE when I came upon this dress on the etsy shop JolieJuliette Vintage for Petites:

Not vintage, but the same gorgeous bell sleeves, same silhouette, and obi wrap. SUCCESS!Contacted the seller, Mz. Juliette, and it was done and done. Cannot WAIT to get the dress. I am going to take it to a tailor to have the shoulder seams opened up just a bit like the Glamourai's dress above. What was even better? Discovering how LOVELY Juliette is. She is so nice and gracious, and has some DOPE stuff in her stop to boot. Don't take my word for it - check it out belooooow....

Well, hellooooo adorably quirkly lil jacket. I heart you.
Vintage burgandy caftan? Puh-leeze, b!tches. You KNOW I love it.

Oh mylanta - yummy satin jewel-toned robe? Belted as dress or worn open as jacket? You are like that guy in school who isn't so much classicly handsome, but is frigging HILARIOUS, and the more you're around him, the cuter he gets? I may have to come back for you....

Get thee hence to check out the rest of her stuff, and while you're at it, head over to her blog here to see, dare I say it, even MO stuff.

Merci!
Shan

I have the brown tiger stripe dress...in green too. It's Victoria Secret. Love your idea about altering it. I bid on the Glamorai dress and sadly lost!
