Reunited...And It Feels So 80's

You may recall I'm on the looksy for sartorial statements for my 20 Year High School Reunion. We have three days worth of events, not just one night. As much as I'm trying to shop my closet, it just seems like the perfect excuse/reason to shop, no?

I've found lots of goodies I like but nothing I loooooooooooooooove. Question is: do I love this?

I think I do. So I bought it on the eBays this weekend. The seller is awesome and takes returns. If you're like me you're once bitten twice shy on the eBay sometimes. My last two purchases ended in the sads. I hope this one goes better.

Or I could get this fab 80s raspberry (beret) confection and realize "WHAT DE HAIL?" was she thinking. And then realize that "she" is "me." This could either go really well or really wrong. Super fantastical and dramatic and eye-catching vintage or super "Designing Women go to a charity cocktail party."

I'm a leeeetle torn but I am pretty much in love with those sleeves. I loves me some drama. The back is pretty sweet, too. May change out ze belt, not sure.

Thoughts? Feelings? Opinions? It should be here this week so stay tuned!
.
In the meantime, I'm going to continue shopping and keep my receipts. Yeah, I said it.
.
Oh, and mayhaps I did pick up this dress at Nordstrom for some event, just not the main night. I'm feeling it's more cocktail party on Friday night. Or not. I'm suddenly RIDICULOUSLY indecisive. I'd never make it choosing an Oscar gown. Because I'm pretty sure that's something I need to worry about...
.
Merci!
